Question: Where did the name and concept of a "Book of Shadows" originate from?
(asked on 2007-04-23 IP address: 71.76.187.152)
Answer: It's actually fairly recently (within the last 50-60 years or so) that the book filled with a pagans thoughts, spells, rituals, meditations, etc, was labeled as a "Book of Shadows". There was probably similar books in the early part of the century as well but for the most part, say, medieval times, most people probably didn't know how to read or write fluently enough to keep a journal.

Question: Do any Pagans (excluding Luciferians and some Satanists) worship Lucifer? He is a God, the bearer of light, much like Prometheus.
(asked on 2007-04-18 IP address: 71.76.187.152)
Answer: I personally don't but then again I don't have any patron deities right now. I don't see why Pagan's wouldn't worship Lucifer. They might not admit it due to the bad publicity he has though.

Question: What are a Pagan's view of death, esp. that of a child...
(asked on 2007-04-18 IP address: 70.153.94.195)
Answer: I don't feel that Pagan's are able to give simple answers quite like other religions "It was God's will" etc. To have a child die, I literally can not imagine the emotional pain for the parents. From illness, accident, or crime, there is no ultimate plan, no destiny or fate that is in store to have a child die before the ripe old age of 100. In general, Pagan's view death as another turn in the wheel. That the loved one is still with us, either in the Summerlands waiting for us, or existing on an alternate plane.
